1/6/09 - Workout

Post by Kelli on Tue Jan 06, 2009 10:07 pm

Ok, so today I am not feeling all that well. I think I may be coming down with something. I was shivering all night last night and just couldn't get warm. Probably had a fever. Today, headache, congestion, and a sore throat.

I did go to the gym after work, but I could hardly breathe when I was on the elliptical. It was a struggle, so I only did 30 minutes for 4323 strides and burned 302 calories.

Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow.

Oh No.. don't be kissin on me.. hehehe

I hate being sick! It disrupts my whole life!!

Take in tons of Vitamin C, lots of fluids and get some rest. Hope you feel better soon.

And just to let you know, working out helps a sickness move thru your body faster. When you blood is pumping, and you are sweating you get the ick out of your body faster Wink

I didn't know that about working out through a sickness and making it go away quicker. Will keep that in mind. I was really dragging today, so I didn't get to the gym. Sad I've already packed my bag for tomorrow with my workout clothes so that I can stop on my way home from work.

I can't remember where I read that, but my Chiro also told me it. One sure doesn't feel like working out when they are sick. But, if you can even get a good 20 min brisk walk or something it does do your body good Wink

I'm still not feeling great today, but I am going to try to get to the gym afterwork tonight even if it is just for a little while.
