My Name is Kelli and I will be Healthy in 09!

Hi Everyone -

My name is Kelli and I am looking forward to being healthy in '09. This past November, I found out that I have high blood pressure. It was extremely high! It sure was a wake up call. I've done a lot of research since then and have completely changed my eating habits. I also switched my gym membership to one that would be more convenient to go too. I wasted so much money paying for a membership to a place that I just haven't had time to go to since I went back to work full-time. Since December 4, 2008 I have worked out almost every single day and I feel great.

I have been married to a great guy named Doug for almost 22 years and am looking forward to growing old with him. We have a wonderful son named Justin who is 18 and training to be a EMT/Fireman. Our beautiful daughter Kacie Leigh just turned 16 on Jan. 2. She is still in high school and is a dancer and cheerleader.

I was a sahm for 15 years. I went back to work FT in January 08 as an Administrative Assistant at one of the largest health care companies in our area. I absolutely love it. However, sitting and working long hours in front of a computer certainly hasn't helped my health or my weight this past year.

I am finally taking time out of each day just for me. I am learning that it is important to do this not only for my health, but my happiness, self-confidence and well being too!
