I am working out!
Ok when Sheila came here last year in SPring I had GAINED WEIGHT. WHOOPSIE! So when she left I said...Oh girl lets get moving. Cause I havent worked out in almost a YEAR.
I am have been doing Cardio on the treadmill. I actually started last spring....STOPPED some where in Oct and have now picked it up again and been working out for the last 3 weeks.
I do 40 mins of fast pace walking with some running/skipping moves in between the walking. Just in small spurts to build up the heart rate faster every now and then. (that burns extra calories)
As soon as Cardio is done I go over to my work out bench and I start my upper body routine of weight training. I do movements that help my upper and lower back. SHRINKS my tummy and sculpts my body. I use 8 lb weights. When I feel like I just cant lift one more time, I squeeze 5 more in. Who cares if I dont do it perfect or if its not up all the way I am pushing myself to USE THOSE muscles and there for burning extra calories and OPENING my strength. Next time I will be able to do those 5 i couldnt before and 5 more.
I also do 3 times a week lower body sculpting. I do lunges. Walking lunges or stay in place. I also do squats and leg lifts. PERFECT for butt lifting, takes away the cottage cheese I got going on there NOW on those thighs.
and LIFTS everything and makes it nice and TIGHT feeling. I love that.
I work out 5 days a week.
40 min 5 days a week on Cardio.
15 min upper body
15 lower body.
Hopefully I can squeeze some pilates in there in a bit to break up the routine. But for now I am just gonna work my butt off with what I am doing and in 2 months time change it up. That way I dont get bored or become stuck cause my body will eventually get use to it.
I am ALSO eating HEALTHY. I have been eating healthy for MONTHS and I portion control.

Congrats Sherry, you definitely have got things under control. Will be learning a lot from you I can tell. You are a fountain of HEALTHY information.
