Currently Strength and Cardio Training
I am currently doing strength and cardio training. I've been thinking about trying the kickboxing and spinning classes at the new gym that I just switched to in December (YMCA). I used to do Tae Bo and loved it, but since gaining some weight I don't really feel coordinated enough to do it. Since I've been working out again, I've lost more inches than lbs. due to the strength training. Maybe I will make it a goal to try one of these classes before the end of January.
Has anyone ever taking a spinning class? What are they like? Do you recommend them?

I have never heard of spinning..what is it?
I did take belly danceing and loved it. For me I have to drive about an hour to and from for any classes offered, so I just don't do them.
If I lived closer to town I would do belly dance again, maybe yoga or pilates.

Spinning is a very intense biking class. The description listed says:
The instructor takes the class through a virtual "mind trip on wheels." This fun and challenging mode of exercise appeals to everyone and will keep you in top physical condition.
Not sure if I would be coordinated enough to belly dance. I haven't heard of that being offered anywhere around here either.

OK My friend does that. BEEN doing it for years. SHe has an ASS that you can bounce quarters off of. LOL The work out is INTENSE. But once your use to it. You will be slamming. ITs burns so much calories and gets your thighs, butt, calves all in shape.
She tried to get me to go once cause her friend is the trainer of the class and I was like....NO WAY! 45 min of low impact training?? LOL I WILL DIE. lol Or SO i think. lol
I actually know 2 people that take these classes. ONE is not a friend. Just a friend of a friend who I cant stand and who also has an ass I would kill for. lol

Well, there you go. I will make this a goal of mine to attend a spinning class by the end of February. I still need some time to build up my endurance. My ass can definitely use all the help it can get.
